These Hershey Kiss Pretzels are easy to make and everyone loves them. I mean what's not to like? The salty pretzels combine with the sweet chocolate to make the perfect bite sized treat.

What You Need

  • Hershey Kisses - Milk chocolate is my favorite
  • Mini Pretzels - Look for a size just bigger than a Hershey Kiss. Mini pretzel twists or waffle-shaped pretzels work great
  • M&Ms - this recipe uses traditional milk chocolate but any variety will work
  • Baking Sheet Pan
  • Silicon Baking Mat - optional, but makes cleanup easier

Variations

In the picture above you can see I used waffle pretzels, milk chocolate M&Ms and Christmas themed Hershey Kisses (just the wrapper, inside is standard milk chocolate). But you can customize them any way you like.

  • Peppermint candy cane kisses are perfect for Christmas, especially if you pair them with the Christmas M&Ms.
  • You can use the red, white, and pink M&Ms you can get around Valentine's day to make a sweet treat for your significant other.
  • Use green M&Ms for Saint Patrick's day.
  • The pastel colored M&Ms available in the spring are perfect for Easter, and also for wedding and baby showers.
  • For Halloween, you can use pumpkin pie M&Ms or use candy corn instead.
  • Skip the M&Ms altogether replace them with nuts. Pecans, hazelnuts, and macadamia nuts are all good options.
Side by side view of Hershey Kiss Pretzels. On the left is a batch or pretzels topped with Hershey kisses on a cookie sheet. On the right is the same kisses after they came out of the oven and with M&Ms pressed into each.

I don't like to overcrowd them but if you squeeze them in closer you can fit more on the baking sheet.

Ingredients

  • 35 Hershey's Kisses
  • 35 Mini Pretzels
  • 35 M&Ms

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 250 F. Place pretzels on a baking sheet in a single layer
  • Unwrap the Hershey Kisses and place one on each pretzel. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake until the chocolate is soft but not melted (about 3 to 5 minutes)
  • While the chocolate is still soft, press one M&M into the top of each Kiss
  • Allow to cool until the chocolate sets. You can pop the baking sheet in the fridge to speed up the cooling process

Notes

  • I like to spread them out on a baking sheet so I fit about 35 to 40 per batch. If you squeeze them in you can fit more.
  • The most time consuming part of making these Hershey Kiss Pretzels is having to unwrap each piece of candy. This is a great task to give to little helpers!
